  Do it at the right time:

  A tripod and a long lens will help. As will a fast shutter speed to prevent any blur (the moon moves and your camera shakes). If you can lock up your mirror and use a remote to trigger the exposure thats good too.
  
  And hope there are no clouds :)

  Wish I could right now it is overcast with light small crytaline water falling from the sky....

    They were calling for that here... snow and rain and clouds... I lucked out
    
    Then again I cant move my fingers its so cold, so...
